COLLABORATION

SARAH OOSTENDORP X YEONJAE CHOI


This collaboration is an investigation into the process of making art using circular forms and mixed mediums, sculpture and drawing. These works are highly left to chance. They are labour-intensive, and repetitive and observes the obsession both artists have towards their art practices. Yeonjae and Sarah have been admirers of each other's works and decided to take an opportunity to collaborate as they discovered they shared similar ideas in their process of making, their preoccupation with the circular form and the outcome of chance, as to let the art choose its fate.


This collaboration started in 2021 and will finish in 2023.
